A Second Grade Science Unit

What is this unit all about?

 The lessons included in this Science Unit are intended for teachers to inform, extend and enhance the current unit implemented in second grade. The unit is broken into four focuses. First, students will focus on the layers of the Earth. Second, students will learn about the different land and water features on the Earth’s Surface.  Third, they will explore the different natural processes that change our Earth’s surface. Finally students will investigate and design solutions to solve the problems that these changes cause to people.
